Hey there, Friend! My name is Mindy Young and I've been a Kansas Gardener for 37 years.
Literally, my mom would carry me out to the garden and sit me on the ground. I would play in the dirt for HOURS.
Since then, I've really been interested in how plants grow. Trying new ways to grow plants has made me really good at it. So good that I actually make money with my garden now.
I'm also a Master Gardener and I've been a Horticulture educator for the past 10 years.
At our local Farmer's Market stand, we are pretty well known for our vegetables. But more importantly, we are known for our gardening expertise.
People come to our Farmers Market stand all the time to troubleshoot why their garden won't grow.
It's frustrating when you try to grow a garden and it fails. I know this. I've definitely had my share of failure.
