Well, that's where I come in. I'm here to help you get from planting the seed to harvesting amazing vegetables that you grew yourself!
I'm going to take you from planting to care of the plants until it's time to pick your veggies. After you take this course, you're going to have bumper crop after bumper crop because you're going to know how to nurture and care for your plants.

Hey there, Friend! My name is Mindy Young and I've been a Kansas Gardener for 37 years. I'm a former County Extension Agent specializing in Horticulture and a Kansas Master Gardener.
Fun Fact: I've exhibited the Grand Champion Tomatoes at the Kansas State Fair in 2015 and 2017. :o
I've been a gardener since I was very young. Literally, my mom would carry me out to the garden and sit me on the ground. I would play in the dirt for HOURS while she worked.
Since then, I've really been interested in how plants grow. Trying new ways to grow plants has made me really good at it. So good that I actually make money with my garden now.
People come to our Farmers Market stand all the time to troubleshoot why their garden won't grow.
It's frustrating when you try to grow a garden and it fails. I know this. I've definitely had my share of failure.
I'm here to help you work through the struggles and learn what you need to do to overcome obstacles and grow a successful garden with bountiful produce.
